Nine of eleven species of great whales visit the Gulf of California (Sea of Cortez) in Mexico. In addition to sperm whales, our flights have found blue, humpback,grey, fin, minke, sei, Bryde’s, and once, a North Pacific right whale, one of an estimated 150 left in the North Pacific.
